Purchasing Co-ordinator

Location: Merton Business Park, Foxholes Road, Leicester, LE3 1TH

Salary: £21,000 – £23,000 per annum (depending upon experience)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Closing Date: 18 February 2019

Duration: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week – Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

Purchasing Co-ordinator

Merton Group UK Ltd requires a self-motivated, enthusiastic person for our busy Purchasing Department.

The role is varied and will include:

  • Analysing stock requirements, raising, processing purchase orders to suppliers
  • Expediting deliveries in a timely manner
  • Dealing with issues related to deliveries, customer complaints and customer additional requirements as required
  • Preparing purchasing and stock related analysis reports and spreadsheets
  • General administration tasks
  • In conjunction with the Purchasing Controller, liaising with both suppliers and other departments both verbally and in writing

Skills required:

  • Experience in a Purchasing or administration environment essential
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Experience in creation and using Excel spreadsheets an advantage
  • Sound administration skills
  • Good Company team player
  • A willingness to learn, full training on offer
