World Cup Spot The Ball Hill Club Special – Terms and Conditions
Before entering any Merton Group ‘Spot the Ball’ competition, please take some time to read the below competition terms and conditions carefully. If you enter the competition, we will assume that you have read and agree to the following terms and conditions.
How to enter:
To enter the competition, users must visit the following site: www.mertongroup.co.uk. Using their skill and knowledge, users must determine where the ball is in the image and select the relevant square on the grid (A-W, 1-13) that they believe holds the centre of the ball, before completing and submitting the entry form provided. For each competition, the image will change and a new competition will start. Users must only enter each competition once; multiple/incorrect entries will be disqualified.
Picking the winner(s):
All of the entrants that have selected a correct location (the centre of the ball) will be entered into a draw, with the first name drawn (using random draw software) winning the relevant competitions top prize. The correct locations are defined as the coordinates containing the centre of the football. if applicable, any subsequent winners will win secondary prizes. Competitions will close weekly and the winners will be notified by e-mail on or shortly after close. If we cannot contact the winner or they do not respond within two weeks, we reserve the right to offer the prize to another entrant who has selected the correct location. Winners may be announced on the Merton Group Facebook and Twitter profiles.
All decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Opening and closing dates:
The current Hill Club Special competition will be open to entries until Friday November 26th 2021.
The prize details:
All of the entrants that have selected the correct location will be entered into a draw.
Prizes are as follows –
Winner – One large hamper to entrant, plus the opportunity to receive one months free stock for a site of their choosing. Free stock is only available to MGUK Account holders (those with a live Supply Agreement) and will be a calculated average volume of stock used by an agreed site in a given 12 month period. The period of 12 months will be as at August 31st 2021. The average used will be a mean average of volume (of MGUK stock or closest equivalent) used during the selected period and divided by 12. Stock line and value will be taken from the matching or closest MGUK option at either current price list value or at the Accounts standard discount value for lines not appearing on a current pricing schedule. If an MGUK option is not available the line will not be included. The ‘month’ value will then be given as a stock credit note to be used by the Account holder.
If any of the prizes are not available, Merton Group reserve the right to offer an alternative prize. The prizes cannot be transferred to another person or entity and none of the prizes are exchangeable for something else of the winner’s choosing.
Prizes will be supplied within 3 months of competitions close. Any extended timescales that are outside of Merton Group control will not be compensated for.
Notification:
All entrants will be notified of entry via email. They will then receive a results email. Entrants will also be introduced to the Merton Group by email and will receive periodic offers from us. All emails will contain the option to manage preferences and unsubscribe from further correspondence.
GDPR:
Any email sent by MGUK will have the option to unsubscribe and manage data preferences with us. Entrants are free to unsubscribe at any time during the process. Once unsubscribed, an entrant will no longer receive emails from MGUK and as such would not be notified of any prizes won.

General:
Merton Group reserve the right to change these competition terms and conditions if required. In the event of this happening, the new terms and conditions will be published on this page.
Any competition timing, length of availability and prize structure is subject to change at any time.
This competition is not open to any MGUK employee from the Marketing or IT Departments.
